The Skirt Chronicles is an independent French publication founded by friends Sarah de Mavaleix, Sofia Nebiolo, and Haydée Touitou. A celebration of different cultures and generations, the women do not adhere to any specific guidelines when it comes to choosing their content – the founders derive great joy from this freedom and feature a diverse array of works and subjects, curating their aesthetic according to their current mood and feeling when working on an issue.

Archiving is a way of sharing. Its creation is a celebration of the past, but also of what is yet to come. Volume III explores different collections of documents and records that provide information gathered either by chance or that have been purposefully put together. An archive allows one to transform the experience of time into an act of love. “Time is not outside of the archive, it is in it.”
